Nikola Mirilovic, Ph.D., is an associate professor in the School of Politics, Security, and International Affairs (SPSIA). He earned his Ph.D. in Political Science at the University of Chicago in 2009. With over ten years of teaching experience, Dr. Mirilovic has also published a multitude of articles on current topics including religious discrimination, diaspora politics, and international ideologies.

Along with teaching, Dr. Mirilovic is currently a SPSIA Coordinator for the Honors Undergraduate Thesis Program and, this past year, published 3 articles and co-wrote a chapter in Oxford Bibliographies in Political Science.
