Dr. Jahani earned her Ph.D. in organizational behavior with a focus on knowledge management and sharing. Dr. Jahani co-edited three textbooks related to research methodology in hospitality and tourism. Dr. Jahani also serves as an Invited Associate Methodology Editor for the Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Insights which requires her to carefully and timely review manuscripts submitted for publication consideration. Dr. Jahani directs assessments for the College of Community Innovation and Education through survey science and institutional effectiveness. Dr. Jahani leads department and college surveys including design, distribution, data collection, data analysis, and reporting and visualization. Dr. Jahani has supported and guided scholars and doctoral candidates with data preparation and analysis, grant proposals, scholarly publications, dissertations, academic job applications, and portfolios for advancement in academia (or transitions out of academia). As a graduate faculty scholar at UCF since 2014, Dr. Jahani taught face-to-face, hybrid, and fully online courses to nearly 2,100 undergraduate and graduate students. She taught Revenue Management in the Rosen College of Hospitality Management.  Dr. Jahani has taught Data Analytics, Fundamentals of Graduate Research in Education, and Yoga and Meditation. She served as the instructor of record in the Computing and Statistical Technology Laboratory in Education (CASTLE).
