Pandit Nandkishor Muley has been teaching Honors Cultural Traditions of India at the Burnett Honors College at the University of Central Florida since 2002. An acclaimed Indian classical musician, he is renowned for his mastery of the santoor. Born into a musically inclined family, Pandit Muley received rigorous training under eminent gurus, dedicating his life to the promotion and preservation of Indian classical music. His illustrious career spans several decades, during which he has performed at prestigious venues worldwide and published numerous articles on Indian music’s contemporary relevance.
At UCF, Pandit Muley introduces students to India’s rich cultural heritage through his course. His immersive and engaging teaching approach provides a deep understanding of Indian culture, encompassing music, literature, and philosophical traditions. Besides his role at UCF, he is actively involved in cultural organizations and initiatives worldwide.
