Naveen Eluru, Ph.D. is a professor for the Department of Civil, Environmental and Construction Engineering (CECE). Graduating with his Ph.D. from The University of Texas, Austin in 2010, Dr. Eluru has been teaching at UCF since 2014. Dr. Eluru’s research interests include transportation planning, sustainable urban design, transportation safety and advanced econometric modeling.

Dr. Eluru has been listed in the Top 15 and Top 10 authors in terms of publication for econometric choice modeling research and road safety, transportation safety and traffic safety research, respectively. He also has a number of current research projects in development, including “The Effect of Vehicle Mix on Crash Frequency and Crash Severity.”
