Arianna Lestrade is the Fall 2022 Human Trafficking & India Center Intern for the Office of Global Perspectives and International Initiatives. She is a Senior at the University of Central Florida pursuing a Bachelor of Science Degree in Forensic Science, with minors in Chemistry and Women and Gender Studies.  


Lestrade is a member of the Student Government Judicial Branch as an Associate Justice and a member of Student Conduct and Academic Integrity as a Hearing Officer. Her research interests include Human Rights, Crimes against Women, and Transnational Feminism. Upon graduation, she plans to take a gap year to travel and prepare for law school, where she hopes to focus on Human Rights law. A student of English, Lestrade has traveled to Puerto Rico and Dominica, her home country.
